It was with great sadness that I watched the events unfold this morning in southern Russia. Both Russia and the whole civilized world face a common enemy with no regard for human life or liberty. When children are seized in such a barbaric fashion, and slaughtered in the name of religion, all thinking individuals are filled with revulsion. My prayers are with the children and their families, and of course, the brave Russian army, which is to be commended for their resolute and firm action in response to this savagery. My condolences to the fallen and their families...
Sincerely, Steve Johnson
Please accept my sincerest sympathies for the latest terrorist attack perpetrated against the innocent children in Russia. Not that it matters but I am a TOTAL supporter of the US campaign against terror as I believe that the Islamofascists must be destroyed or at least crushed into powerlessness wherever they might be found. The same fanaticism that attacks you is the basis for the enemies of our futures as well.
Although the campaign in Chechnya might have been conducted more 'sensitively', nothing can excuse the actions of the sub-humans who you are now fighting in order to save your children. Although I live in Canada I have no respect for our government's attitude toward international terror or for its weakness in opposing terror wherever it is found. I know that several Russian spokesmen have condemned the 'double standard' in the West about Muslim terrorists in Russia as opposed to Muslim terrorists elsewhere.
I don't have a double standard. You are under attack by swine and whatever you do in response is totally justified. The sooner Russia and the US can begin to present a unified front in this monstrous struggle against the new barbarians, the better we all will be. And by the way, Russian support of the mullahs in Iran is NOT HELPFUL. They are part of the problem you are facing. They must be prevented from obtaining nuclear weapons AT ALL COSTS. Again my sincerest sympathies to all the suffering parents, friends, relatives, of the victims of the cruel, inhuman, assault on civilization. My heart goes out to them.
Sincerely yours

While early reports forecast a dire outcome for many families in Beslan, I extend my sympathies for the loss and terrible circumstances that have befallen your countrymen. These events have touched me deeply. The initial anger I felt toward the terrorists subsided quickly as my mind filled with the anguish of children and parents. I pray the Heavenly Father comfort the families and people of Russia, who I am certain will serve justice to the barbaric perpetrators and those sympathetic to this incident.
Sincerely,

"We grieve with you and the families of the victims at this unfortunate time and pray for a speedy and complete recovery of the many wounded.
Should this as suspected prove to be a terrorist act, it will be yet another cowardly attack on innocent civilians by people who place narrow political purposes above the sanctity of human life. We concur with President Putin's admonition that "only with the united efforts of the world community can we deal with this plague of this 21st century".

Hello,
I have been reading with horror about the bombing on the Moscow Metro. I visited Moscow a few years back and found it to be a wonderful city, the people were friendly and I had a great time. I am shocked and very saddened by the events of the last 24 hours. Please allow me to express my sympathy and solidarity with the people of Moscow and Russia during this tragic time. My condolences to the families of the victims and best wishes for those injured. These are tragic times for all of us in the civilized world.

To the Ambassador
Your Excellency:
Please accept this Canadian's condolences for the loss of life and injuries suffered by your countrymen in the brutal bombing of the Moscow underground. Whatever the merits or otherwise of any group's wishes or demands, the taking of lives in such a brutal and cowardly manner can never be justified. My thoughts are with your countrymen at this terrible time, especially with the injured and the families of all so affected.
