Attention!

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Canada would like to draw applicants’ attention to the changes in requirements in appliance for Russian visas.

Starting from June 1, 2012 all Consular representations of the Russian Federation in Canada will shift for receiving of the application forms, filled and printed out using the website of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation – http://visa.kdmid.ru.

Along with the electronical visa applications, filled out using the above mentioned website the former procedure of the appliance for Russian visa will remain valid till June 1, 2012.

In order to streamline and improve the visa obtaining process the Consular Division of the Embassy
of the Russian Federation in Canada is no more processing visa applications by mail.

Please note that if you send your application by mail against standard procedure
it will be returned to you back unprocessed.

In meanwhile the applicants unable to be present in our visa section in person are recommended to rely on the services provided by visa agencies.

Any visa applicant may be interviewed by a consular officer if necessary

The Russian Federation maintains Consular Offices in three locations
in Canada, with each having its own jurisdiction.
